Product IntroductionProduct DescriptionConsists of liquid storage tank, connecting tube, irrigation nozzle and press valve. It is used for nasal cavity irrigation. Supplied non-sterile. Irrigating liquid is not included.Instructions for UseOperation with Irrigating Device
- Pour irrigating liquid into the tank, do not exceed the maximum scale line.
- Fasten the tank cap and install the matched nozzle firmly. Connect the nasal irrigator to the device via the tube.
- Turn on the device. Insert the nozzle into one nostril at a comfortable depth. Press and hold the valve to start irrigation, and adjust flow rate by light pressing. Block the other nostril with fingers. Wipe discharged mucus after use, then irrigate the other nostril in the same way.
- Disconnect the tube, power off the device and clean the irrigator after operation.
Operation without Irrigating Device
- Fill the tank with 300ml or 500ml warm water at 36℃-40℃. A liquid crystal temperature sticker can be attached for temperature detection; temperature is proper when the screen shows "OK".
- Add 2.7g or 4.5g nasal wash salt into water and shake gently.
- Invert the bottle, aim the nozzle at one nostril, breathe through mouth and control the valve to perform nasal irrigation.
Precautions
- Water temperature shall be close to body temperature, not exceeding 40℃. Temperature sticker is available for detection.
- Thoroughly clean the irrigator before and after each use.
- Do not use when nostril is completely blocked or ear infection occurs.
- Avoid direct nasal irrigation with purified water to prevent nasal irritation.
- For personal use only to avoid cross infection.
- Stop use immediately and consult a doctor in case of discomfort.
- Use cautiously for people allergic to product materials.
WarningIt is forbidden to replace nasal wash salt with purified water or edible salt.Additional Notes
- Recommended volume: 300ml for children, 500ml for adults.
- 500ml water mixed with 4.5g salt or 300ml water mixed with 2.7g salt makes normal saline of 0.9% concentration.
- Not recommended for use when lying down or within 2 hours before bedtime. Contraindicated for patients with otitis media and severe nasal congestion.
- Liquid crystal temperature sticker is optional, only serving as auxiliary temperature indicator.
